Some evenings are tough in my home. Kids are melting down, homework is plentiful, the toddler needs everything now, and I simply don’t have time to stand at the stove for 30 minutes. Delicious Baked Chicken Thighs is the recipe I use on those nights. It only takes 10 minutes of prep and then you can forget about it until the timer dings. Perfect!
Delicious Baked Chicken Thighs
Tender and delicious baked chicken thighs that are a breeze to make.
Preheat oven to 350º Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly rub with olive oil.
Arrange chicken thighs on baking sheet, skin side up.
Combine garlic salt, oregano, thyme, paprika, and black pepper in a small container or ziplock bag and shake to thoroughly mix. Sprinkle mixture over chicken thighs.
Bake chicken thighs until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear; about 1 hour. An instant read thermometer should read 165º F, when inserted near the bone.
Not a fan of oregano? Substitute dried rosemary. If you like more spice in your meal you can substitute chili powder for the paprika. This recipe is easy to play with and goes great with baked potatoes as a side. Just pop them in the oven at the same time you put the chicken in and they'll be ready in 1 hour, too. Enjoy!
